Yes-I,
I heard a song on a cassette back in the mid-eighties..the cassette came from England. The song had a sweet Dub after it, too. I think the artist was The Silvertones, but I'm not sure, and don't know too much about them. It was kind of a hard, sharp rock-steady type beat, and the lyrics go something like:
We're working everyday,
And still we can't get no pay,
We're working just for the rent man,
It seems so unfair.
So many people,
They find it hard,
To express themselves,
In this our troubled times...
...and the chorus is something like "Don't Give Up."
Does anyone know anything about this song?
Curious about a song...
