Also looking for stuff by either of these two guys, especially any film or video footage. In the late '80s, the BBC ran a series about reggae on TV and there was some great footage of these two coming up with some great lines.
Any help or tips much appreciated.

You mean the Deep Roots Music series where they appear at a garden party? That's on dvd now, I think Dub Vendor stocks/stocked it...

Yes these two were pioneering DJs, don't know what's happened to them now.

There is also the "Studio 1 Story" DVD that comes with Soul Jazz's release of the same name.

I only saw it once some years ago but I'm almost sure that King Stitt, the "Ugly One", appears in it. I don't recall wether Machuki appears, though I beleive he's mentioned.
