Sowell Radics - Any compilation of his solo work?

Post by Roots_Rocker_Matt »

My favourite song off the Trojan 12" box set/compilation was Caution by Sowell Radics; concious lyrics, great tune! (tu)

I been looking for more of his stuff, but the best I could find was a list of 12" singles, but no albums: http://www.algoriddim.com/_art/artist.p ... t_id=R3834

Do any of you knowledgeable rootsmen know where I can find a collection of his tunes? (I'd rather not try to track down the separate 12" singles, could get pricey...)

No compilation to my knowledge. Another good tune of his is "All Night Jammin" a 12" on DATC.

A lot of people rate his "Wheel of Mathilda", but I don't think it's a very good tune (bassline is alright, though).

Re "Caution": I agree it's a must have. On this riddim a further cut --> "Long Time I No Smoke" by Boy Blue, the 7" was recently reissued and comes with a crucial Scientist dub.
