Soul Syndicate

Post by Rootsman »

Can Anyone please tell me if their "Harvest Uptown, Famine Downtown" album from 1977 is any good. Is it worth picking up ?

Yes, it's a great record. However the reissue has a quite bad pressing so avoid that one.

Thanks Guys, i`ve ordered it. Regarding the bad pressing, i`ve actually ordered it on CD on a label called Epiphany. Is this also subject to poor quality.

Also any other titles by this band worth looking out for.

They also have an LP called Was Is and Always, but it's not as good a Harvest Uptown-Famine Downtown. Take a listen to their cover of Junior Byles' Fade Away... and turn it up LOUD!
