Sizzla was a great reggae artist bringing out conscious songs such as 'thank you mamma' and 'black woman and child' But since he went on tour with artists such as elephant man and vybs Cartel he changed. He brought out songs like 'stage show' and was found with firearms in his home. I hope he will return soon to been his normal self bringing out hreat songs! What do you think the chances are?

I heard that sizzla signed for def jam so I guess Roots recordings will not be a huge part of his future. But it's ok, he is going his way, and of course there are a lot more cultural singjays that you can listen to.

Sizzla is Sizzla.In 2004 he was ban from performing in England because of some of his lycrics from this point we could see which way he was heading. There is a tune out from Buster Rhymes featuring Sizzla.I know he is a Bobo Dread so there will always be conscious vibes.Dont give up on sizzla he started with good music.

I believe that's got more to do with the bobo dread/rasta message of burning homosexuality, seeing that lots of other artistes also have been more or less banned from some European countries. Buju Banton for example cancelled a show in Sweden a year or two ago because of homosexual rights lobbyists, and he's been going quite the opposite way Sizzla's going - he began with slackness and went conscious after that. Before the Uppsala Reggae Festival last summer, where Capleton and Anthony B performed, there were protests because of some of their lyrical contents about homosexuality, so this is definately not just about Sizzla and his "new" message.

Like *John Public* says, Sizzla is going his own way, reaching for his own goals, which of course is very admirable.

Don't know the guy personally, but from the looks of these videos, it appears he may have gone off the deep end... As a poster on B&F's board said, it's some real "Heart of Darkness" "Lord of the Flies" stuff!

he gets alot of flack for his sex songs but buju constantly gets away with it remember the cultural stalwart 'til shiloh is about pumping up pum pum 25% of the time
