thinking of buying the record but i couldnt find no samples on whole web, could some one tell please if there are any famous riddims on the lp or is this something totally different from the regular stusdio 1 tunes?

thats really sad with this digital stuff, the low quality is iight but the digitalized tunes, i dislike them, but i already said that in the "michigan & smiley rub a dub lp" thread.

so wha you say king, get it or leave it?

All in all this set is disappointing to say the least, sad but true.

damn. why oh why missa coxsone. dats what i am talking about when i say i dont agree with coxsone many times, and i bet if coxsone never had those wikid musicians him did pressure ovva him neva bus no hit. dats the differnce between him and Jo Jo.

Jim Nastic is Formerly Known as Jim Brown, the same deejay that sings with Michael Palmer on the Ghetto dance 12". He is featured on those Old Studio Deejay albums, and on several Midnight rock releases as well, but yes I agree, that "Chaunting" LP just doesn't do it for me either.

Honestly, this album does not do him Justice, what a quality artist but difital studio one is not a good thing. Good thing there's enough sound tape of him

The album's not very good. BUT you simply can't do without the title track... It don't get more roots than that.
