I was just wondering how many artists started/recorded at Studio One and made it through the digital era of the mid 80s, and did record full albums for King Jammy and/or others producers of the same period.
Artists that spring to my mind are:
Dennis Brown
Wailing Souls
Johnny Osbourne (late Studio 1)
Ken Boothe
Little John
there are aso other roots artists that made it through like:
Juda Eskender Tafari
John Holt
Gregory Isaacs
Cultutal Roots
U Roy
...
any more you can think about?
