Never mind the creepy cover-tunes - Byron Lee did some of the wickedest Ska! "jamaika ska" is an alltime classic and so is "sammy dead". If i'm right he's the one behind the blues busters ska tunes as well? Love those!

yeah, Mr. Lee got a lot more criticism than he deserved. He was a big part of the genesis and development of this great music and perhaps in time he'll be more kindly appraised and remembered.

Sad news, have the "Only A Fool" CD and I love it. I don't know how much he contributed to that album though, well, anyway Rest in peace..
