Dubs West,
Every serious LP fans know dat. But propably not dis.
Originally these fellas recorded 12 songs and theres only 8 on dis album... Theres also 3 riddim tracks from same era found from "UPSETTERS 14 DUB BLACKBOARD JUNGLE" on Auralux label.
Some people say that the rest of this album can be found somewhere in Island Records vaults...

Kawongolo has been living for years in Brittany.

Kawongolo died last year aged 65. He was indeed living in Saint-Brieuc, in the west of France, and was still involved in the local music scene. Seke Molenga is supposedly living in the north-eastern suburbs of Paris.

I have both the original pressing on Sonafric (1978) and 2nd press on Tropical Sounds (1991). Both pressings feature 6 tracks only, and not 8.Visitor wrote:Dubs West,

Anyhow need to know the other tracks, because it's really great stuff. Amazing album for all serious music lovers even outside of the Reggae genre.

Now I see the CD features 9 tracks.
So it seems 3 tracks are missing.
Anybody here knowing one of these 3 missing tracks?

thanks a lot, but you mention the 3 bonus tracks from the CD. So 9 tracks alltogether are known.Roots Archives wrote:07. Nzube

But "visitor" says in his above posting that there were 12 tracks recorded.
So there are 3 missing tracks.

Actually ONLY 8 tracks alltogether are known.
Notice:
09. African Freedom - Brother Hood
The artist's name is Brother Hood not Seke Molenga & Kalo Kawongolo.
