gunman connection

Post by chemmy »

in the nicodemus tune 'gunman connection' scientist brings in a sample of another singer saying something like

'me no look money, me no look fame, the boy cant be shame, why why why why why why why...'

something like that anyway, i was just wondering if anyone knew who the singer was and what the song was. a friend of mine is convinced its eek-a-mouse but im not so sure.

A wicked tune but is it just me or are the "Me & Jane" Lyrics completely senseless?
By the way chemmy: On the "She love it in the morning" LP by Nicodemus is another track with Bingy Bunny Lyrics called Keep "It In Your Family". The Bingy Bunny track is "Keep It In The Family" and also on the "Me and Jane" LP.

I wouldnt call the lyrics on "Me and Jane" completely senseless but rather not very challenging :)

I dont know whether its just me but I really think that Bingy Bunny was really under-valued as a singers.

Of course he was a much respected member of The Roots Radics but I honestly believe his acheivements as a vocalist is easily on a par with his musicianship.

He had a great voice and sung on some wonderful songs during his lifetime.

He also sung with Nicodemus toasting on "Young Lover/Him a Natty Dread", "Street Lover/ How You Look Girl Pon The Street", "Tonight/It Have To Ram.

Morwells a must have records

nilo82: i have the nicodemus lp 'she love it in the morning'... amazing, the only bad thing about it is it's so short, only half an hour. since this thread i've been looking for the 'me and jane' lp but can't find it anywhere... needs a reissue!
