Unfortunately, neither the vocal or dub counterpart has been released on CD.

Only Cultural Root album I know of on CD is "Hell A Go Pop" which imo is the worst of their 4 albums.

Guess the reason is that neither album has ever been reissued and as both are greats albums rarely appear for sale.

You serious? I love that lp but haven't heard the others. Seems like i have to look out for them.. Don't you like Hell A Go Pop at all or do you just like the other ones better?

hell a go pop is their worst? wow. i think revolutionary sounds is very marginal compared to hell a go pop and i think i have some disco (american disco i mean) stuff by them that is unlistenable. might be confused about that and it might be on 12" singles or maybe not even the same outfit...but i think it is.

what are their better releases then?

Hell A Go Pop, their worst? Spin the songs "execute" and "won't cooperate" and, frankly, reconsider!!!!!!!!

Guys,

Dont get me wring, "Hell A Go Pop" is a great album.

But seriously "Revolutionary Sounds" and the Dub are even better and "Drift Away From Evil" is the best of the lot.

It really is a super super album.

maybe i should revisit revolutionary sounds too but the last time i thought that i dont think i got all the way through it. never heard the dub version though.

i feel like sort of an idiot for this but i just looked up revolutionary sounds and unless it also came out with a different cover, i think im confusing it with another record. im not at home to check but pretty sure i am wrong about it being the one i was thinking of. so...yet another on the "must find" list, at least after i confirm i dont control that one already.

You can't say Hell a go pop is the worst. It's a good album, like drift away...
