Brixton Incident (B side of New Cross Fire)

Post by dub me like a kipper »

Hi Everyone,
I have a recording of part of a song called 'Brixton Incident' which is on the B side of a 12" by Roy Ranking & Raymond Naptali. The A side is called 'New Cross Fire'. The single was released on Imperial Records, KG 006. Does anyone have this and would they be prepared to sell or loan it to me so that I can record it? I will pay!

I need to identify the ridim the song is riding, and it's driving me bonkers! What I am trying to find out is the name of the ridim used, and what album its on. I have a 90-second MP3 file of the song, and would welcome anyone who is interested to email me and I will email the song to you by return. There is a reward for the person who successfully identifies the ridim!

Go on, have a go!
Cheers, kipper (hopeless dubhead)

"New Cross Fire" is based on the "Shank I Sheck" riddim.
