is "cost of living" the same tunes as "economic crisis"?

i would like to know more about this singer jackie bernard and if he recorded any more at blck ark. one of my favorite tunes ever recorded at black ark (economic crisis) sounds so very timeless

"Cost Of Living" and "Economic Crisis" aren't the same tunes... I think "Keithis" is a vocal duo.

I have heard this rumour too but it sounds like Eric Donaldson loud and clear to my ears.

jackie bernard did record other tunes for scratch, but not at the ark. he did "time" on the buck ram label around '71, so that was probably recorded at randys. not nearly as good as "economic crisis" either.

but after this tune long time on 45. as you say, timeless.

and with fear of stating the obvious, jackie bernard was lead singer of classic vocal group the kingstonians. so while not with scratch, that group recorded some of the very best music to ever come off of the island.
