Puma Jones died of cancer January 28 in 1990. The last Black Uhuru album she sang harmony on was 'Brutal'. On 'Positive' from 1987 she was absent because of her illness from which she never recovered. She was replaced by Olafunke (b. Janet Reid) for that recordings.
Whe 'Iron Storm' was recorded back in 1991 the group consisted of Don Carlos, Garth Dennis and Duckie Simpson.

I have heard that michael rose is now turning back as a black uhuru member and now they are planing to record an album. Hmm <I am very excited.

nah i wouldnt bee to excited seriously i never liked black uhuru with michael rose i like black uhuru with don carlos beucase not only are they thee original black uhuru but don carlos did a wonderfull production with iron storm now mystical truth and strongg so i would perfer the original members back

Oh some of the black uhuru stuff with michael rose are really great. But of course I like the black uhuru stuff with don and garth. My favourites are Now, Mystical Truth and Strongg. But I think the black uhuru and the return of michael rose will disappoint many. But still I am excited and wonder how it will sound.

YEAH ME TOO BUT IT AINT GOING TO SOUND ORIGINAL LIKE WHEN DON,GARTH,AND SIMPSON WERE TOGETHER THOUGH. MAN IF I COULD GET A HOLD OF THEM I WOULD ASK THEM TO GET TOGETHER AGAIN AND MAKE MORE RECORDS TOGETHER AGAIN.
