I heard a track played on Roots FM (London) the other morning but didnt catch who the artist was.. it wasnt a new reggae track but more in the late 70's early 80's sound/era, and the lyrics went something like 'Sharon.. ..me to work in bank and wear a three piece suit.. " going on about wanting her back, but not it a sad way.
good track, with limited info to go on i know, but id really like to track down if anyone on this board can help me.
Thanks.

Re: 'Sharon' Track ID (lyrics only)
Thank you Skirt & Blouse but sorry, nope... as Im finding out, theres quite a few 'Sharon' penned/lyrical tracks - why im having a trouble tracking it!
So far its NOT - errol scorcher, ahmaric and easy wayne, or now leroy smart. Its also not anything with them lyrics i can remember, so not Trinity - 3 piece suit for example..
Adding to troubles, theres also a chance that it might not have the name Sharon in the title... but it does sing it as the chorus, so several times through the track.
hmm.
