Limonious Archive is now online

Building on the lists of limonious artwork found on this site and elsewhere on the internet I built a website dedicated to the art of Wilfred Limonious.

It features a searchable database of Limonious album covers. Registered users can contribute by commenting the artwork, uploading their own scans and interacting with other users on a message board.

Do you have to register just to look at the scans? I keep getting a 404 error when I try to. If so that seems a bit odd. I love the idea of this but...

@Hans:
I gathered all available Limonious scans from the web at the beginning of the year. In the meantime some more are available for sure. I hope some readers of the site will help to complete the archive.

Looking at the archive of covers is possible without registration:

If it doesn't work for you the site may have been temporarily down due to the host provider or it may be an incompatibility with your browser. If it still doesn't work now could you tell me what browser/version you are using?

OK, those links work. It's when I click the link 'listing' in the About this Site paragraph that I get the error. I didn't realize at first that the Archive tab had a drop down menu. I know nothing about web design, but it seems to me the main content of the site would be easier to find if the 'cover art by limonius' was on its own tab rather than within the drop down menu under Archive? Just a thought. It's great you did this. I love Limonious covers!

OK, now it seems obvious that you'd mouse over Archive to get to the archive. duh. But at the same time, when you're on the landing page, it sorta looks like you're on the Archive page already. Whatever. Feel free to ignore me.

@flashman: Thanks for your feedback. I just changed the menues so that you can directly click on "art by limonious" and "art by other artists". Also the "listing" link in the introductory article is working now.

@leggo rocker: That happened because I was improving the menu layout based on flashmans feedback just at the same time you followed those links.
Now the links work.

Unfortunately, Limonious did pass away a few years ago in New York. He went through hard times during the last years of his life, selling some of his drawings for a few bucks. Nevertheless, he enjoyed an exhibition of his work in New York before dying.
