You've been expecting it for nearly one year and, after three months of development, the new version of Talawa is online!
With this new version you can easily share music, videos, and much more. Are also available to you hours of multimedia content, party pictures, and all kinds of documents...
Each user signed in on Talawa gets his/her own personalized profile page including a music player and user info. This allows you to choose the content you want to highlight. Artists will choose their latest productions, radio DJs their latest broadcasts, and sound systems their live sessions.
This new version makes it easier to keep in touch with your favorite artists and to stay informed of their latest activities. You can put a comment on their profile, or use the internal messaging system, or else subscribe to their RSS feed.
You can also use the search engine to easily find an artist you like and discover other ones.
This new site will match you perfectly and you will keep it alive. So do not hesitate to come and share the music you love, to put comments on your favourite tracks, and to send us any feedback, be it positive or negative. And of course any idea to improve Talawa is most welcome!
The next step in the evolution of Talawa will be the implementation of a cultural and social calendar, where you will find the upcoming concerts and events of the European Dub scene.

First of all, we would like to say Welcome to Samira, who joins the team ! She will help us in public relations and website moderation.
What's Up with this new update ?
You certainly must have seen the change of website design, with a revisited homepage to highlight the latest actions of members, with contrasted colors, but also various new features like the possibility to see on a media page, who added this media to their favorites.
Added to that, the opportunity to receive notifications on media new comments, with the button 'Follow users comments'. Then, for those who upload content on Talawa, you can decide if members can download those files or not. You also be able to add as many names as possible in the artist text field to tag a radio show.
Finally, on the home page, we decided to promote radio shows that you can find each and every week on Talawa :
- Sufferah's Choice
- Dublife
- Midnight Mass
- Roots Rock Reggae
- and much more..
