Hi there,
I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to who sings in the Country style of Reggae like for instance Justin Hinds,Joseph Hill and Stanley Beckford.
I really like this rural style of Reggae as for me it just sounds great.
So i was wondering if any of you good people out there can suggest any similar artists that are singing in that same style. I am a big Justin Hinds fan and also love the Starlights but have to date only found the one Heartbeat CD of there material does anyone know if there are others.

Winston Jarrett, Ehtiopians or Justin Hinds ? Not really typical country bwoy singas, man ! You'd better try LEO GRAHAM (his stuff for Lee Perry or Joe Gibbs is real good). This is pure country bwoy style.

Leonard Dillon and Justin Hinds voices may not sound as rural as Leo Graham's (who can ?), but their delivery and use of patois and proverbs are nonetheless typical of country singers, to me.JoLong wrote:Winston Jarrett, Ehtiopians or Justin Hinds ? Unlike Albert Griffiths who, despite his intensive use of proverbs, sounds really urban in comparison.
