Someone please HELP me find this tune

Post by mtk »

Hi all, I've been searching a an early 80s reggae song for years now.I don't know the group singing or the title of song but know all the words. It starts:-
'you and me together...you and me forever....
its so long we've been together girl, sharing more love with each other...no matter what the folks may say...I love you more and more each day now...let them know you're a big girl now...they can't choose for you no more, oh no oh no...I know that they don't really understand...that you're a part of my future plan...with the love we share my dear...stick by me and have no fear... (chorus)I'm gonna build my world around you...with all my love and all days through...its you for me and me for you baby... we'll live together eternally........

Please someone help with the name of song and/or singer/group. I really appreciate your help. Its a love song but kind with a kind of rootsy feel not british artists

Wow, you really want this tune :)

The album CPM mentions is also available on CD and may be easier to find in this format than the album.
