when he sings "cause we must luuuu-uh-uuuuuuv one another" just sounds like a different person altogther. i've always wondered it but yesterday we were getting such a huge kick out of it that i had to ask

Nickfa, Perry can't sing that well. Its definitely Junior Murvin.

that is a funny response because it's unfortunately too true. my wife makes fun of perry's voice when she hears it.

Ide still say lee perry especialy as the track goes into gypsy woman. i think the artist is credited as upsetter revue featuring Junior Murvin.
who ever it is its not Junior Murvin on the deeper vocals as you hear them singing both together.
