There was a Chinna sung cut on his "Home Grown" album.
I think it was released a bit after the Freddie's cut, about 20 years ago.
Drum machine type of production.

I don't know of a late 70s recording, similar to that clip. Will be nice to hear it.

That song is wicked and I too always wondered if Soul Syndicate had cut a version of that song in the style that they do it in the film! It is Chinna's song and I asked Tony Chin if they ever cut it but he said he didn't recall ever cutting it!
