New Pressure Sounds Lee Perry release - "Sound System Scratch"

Really intrigued/baffled by this! http://www.pressure.co.uk/news/-/194/

Were Black Ark tunes actually played "in the dances"? And why have these cuts never been heard before? Has Perry dug out some old tapes/stampers just when it seemed like everything had been heard?

So many questions! So many hopes! :)

the chunes are old dubplates, acetates that where played in dances for the dj's the chant over like it was common in the 70s/early 80s.

police and thieves, groovy siuation, Java, Dub organizer etc. where all popular songs, so there are perhabs dozens or even hunderds of dubplates mixed for various sounsysmtems in the past.

Looks awesome. Definitely going to be buying this one.

This is the sort of thing that the Trojan Corporation should be doing, instead of endlessly releasing 'All Your Favourite Scratch Productions! In A Different Order! With New Artwork!'...
