Were Black Ark tunes actually played "in the dances"? And why have these cuts never been heard before? Has Perry dug out some old tapes/stampers just when it seemed like everything had been heard?
the chunes are old dubplates, acetates that where played in dances for the dj's the chant over like it was common in the 70s/early 80s.
police and thieves,groovy siuation, Java, Dub organizer etc. where all popular songs, so there are perhabs dozens or even hunderds of dubplates mixed for various sounsysmtems in the past.
Awesome! i paid a ton for some of these dubplates like "stagger" and "pablo a de miser" and posted them on the internet a while back....hope these are cleaned up! my frickin' decade is made!!!!!!!
