It's an original riddim. While Gussie, the producer, used to version riddims, he also produced a lot of originals.

Its a version of the Answer riddim. The bass line moves similar to Briggy`s Pain, but has a little intro change that comes in through the riddim.

I had thought of that "Answer" version (Philip Fraser's "Never Let Me Go" on the Roots Tradition label, which was later recycled for Briggy's "Pain") but while there are some simalarities, it's more of an influence than a complete version. "Never Let Go" has some similar phrasing, but some is different.
