I think it's agreat effort nice and relaxing, much better than any of the reggae I ever managed to make when I was younger. Keep on writing and recording and singing. Also rather than booking expensive time in a studio, get some more recording software on your pc and a decent 2nd hand mic and save yourself a lot of money and make your bedroom or your living roo into your studio, you can get great results with a home studio
Don't forget Tubby used his garage to mix dub and record vocals and Perry basically built a room in his back garden not unlike a garage, you don't need a fancy studio

Nice demo. I often see people slagging off others efforts when something like this is posted online. Don't let the negativity hold you back, keep at it.

It takes a lot of courage to publicly post a demo, as you leave yourself open to anonymous criticism.
I enjoyed it. You can tell it's a demo, but it has a very heartfelt feel to it. If you are looking for feedback, I would suggest that you consider simplifying the melody a bit, because it wanders at times, and make sure you project your voice from your diaphram to give it a bit more power.
Good luck, and make sure you point us to the final version once it's completed.

I like this quite a lot. I hear the Gladdy style in the keys. I like the vocal style a lot. Real bass would help. Record this with a band, polish it a bit, and put it out, and I'd be willing to buy it.
Very nice for a demo
