Exactly that. Two differant worlds but the same people.

A Chinaman is Chinese wherever he goes and this has manifested itself in Jamaica with producers,musicians and sound system owners of Chinese decent but they will sound and act Jamaican but still Chinese.

I guess you are right then and we all should know that Rastafarians and the Rastafarian Church invented Ska Rocksteady Roots Reggae and Dancehall. It was the major force behind the creation otherwise it wouldnt exisist so let the Jamaicans and world be gratefull for that.

And because I love Reggae, I also love the Rastafarian believe and customs and especially should love you and all Rasta's no matter what they say (or do). Sry I doubted your words and debated it. Also race is irrelevant. Doenst anybody pay attention? It were the Jamaicans and the Island's 50,60 70ties curtural politcal, society, economical environment that created reggae regardless of the influence of race, religion etc. It was all part of the bigger mix but none played a dominate role. Like some off Dem try to make us believe. Besides maybe the economical situation, read poverity. That was a big driver behind it all.

firstly it was about selling more beer, that's why some Jamaican entrepreneurs (Tom Wong, Vincent Edwards, Arthur Reid, Clement Dodd etc.)started playing music fto attact more customers, which evolved into the soundsystem culture out of which the Jamaica recording industry and music sprung.
