i think their are advantages of this new studio and disadvantages. the advantage is all the legendary artists might reunite in that studio and start recording like they did back in the 80's, but im sure they know as much as we know that they are never gonna get the old sound they got from back in the days, those days are "hidden treasures" for the island of JA. the disadvantage of this is that everything is going to be digital, we aint gonna get that old roots radics, revolutionaries, aggravators, souls syndicate, and high times band sound. never ever again, the works that had been put on all these legendery albums are hall of fame of thee original channel one studio.

There is a recording studio in London called, amusingly, Toe Rag Studios which only uses retro analogue equipment - (http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/oct03/a ... tudios.htm)
As you can see it has been incredibly succesful.

Does anyone know if the new Channel One Studio definitely going to be digital?

Well if it does were gonna have to accept the new sound because i know if one of these artists make an album ima be anxious to listen to what new they have to say and u never know artists that never got fame or that were just forgotten they might just come back to record for us once more u never know anything can happen in reggae.
