Bad experience with SYSTEM RECORDS

Post by Earth&Stone »

I had a very bad experience with an on line seller, recently.I made my order to SYSTEM RECORDS and I sent the payment next day. After a few days I ordered again. Finally, the second order came to me but the first not, after two months.I sent after 40 days 1 email. They answered that I hadn't worry because there was a postal strike and soon I'll receive the package. But nothing again. When I sent two other emails, telling them that I hadn't received the first order and asking if they received the first payment,no response at all.I'm very angry with them and I wanted all of you to know about this incident.Sorry about my poor english.

Keep writing to them. I hate people like that too but the only thing you can do is just to write to them...

Earth & Stone.

I know Mick at System Records and have had a very good relationship with him for over 2 years. I have ordered 100`s of items from him and have never had a problem.

In England we have recently had a postal strike and, to be honest our postal service, is shit at the best of times. That is no excuse though as you should have got a response to your e-mails.

If you PM me some details name, where you live, dates etc) and I will speak to him and see if I can help you out.

I really do believe you have been unlucky with this as he is usually very efficient and helpful.

Please let me know and I will try and help you out.

Regards

Go to your post office and ask them if they have a packet for you. I don't know where you live but in France, they don't leave a note at home if you're not here when delivering anymore if it's not recorded. I experienced problems like that a few times.

October was a bad month here in the UK for anyone using the mail. I didn't buy many records that month but still have managed to have three or four go missing while on their way to me in the mail during the strike.

Very true. For example, last night I received a CD that had been sent on 5 October. I'm still awaiting something sent on 6 October. Everything has been massively delayed regardless of the supplier.

I am surprised you haven't received a response from Mick at System Records though as, like Rootsman Dave, I buy a lot of stuff from him and have never, ever had a problem.
