It's also in every single herbal medicine reference I have written before prohibition. And a few since. The list of health benefits is vast.

I find it a little puzzling though, that someone who claims to be a rasta, is taking what appears to be an anti stance here. That's weird!

i am torn on this issue, herb prices in my town have skyrocketed since the medical shops started popping up in california. use to be about $200 for an oz of lambs bread collie, now runs about $300 to $360 an oz!!!

Wow, that's more than it is here! Although I've heard of people asking 200 UK pounds - that's approx 400 USd's for a oz.

All for a simple weed. Crazy!

wow, thats crazy leggo, way too much for an oz.

and greg haha welcome to the rest of the US in terms of pricing :) that 200 for a zip is a pretty righteous deal, so now, the only way to get below 3, is to buy in bulk.

then to address selecta bings post, i think he is just refering to the fact that when you light anything on fire you get the bad biproducts of combustion, one of which is carbon monoxide and that is harmful to your health.

that is why i am extremely pro-vaporizer, you dont actually burn or ignite the herb therefore eliminating those nasty biproducts, and giving you exactly what your after and nothing more.

i personaly dont believe that it is the herb that is harming your lungs, just those biproducts.

Hey Easy. Don't forget we all earn more than you guys in the states so we can afford it :D

As for the vaporiser thing, I have a friend who swears by it. I hate them. It's not satisfying at all. Yes, it gets you stoned but I love smoking! I don't ever and haven't ever smoked cigarettes so I guess herb is my replacement for the vibe that smokers get off on. I can sort of understand the appeal of cigarettes because of this even if I hate the stinking things.

There's a lot that's harmful. Being born is the first of them. I try and balance them all and just accept that one of them will kill me one day.

And I always find it quite amusing when I come across a fellow motorcyclist who is suddenly worried about his health! :D

Nothing has hurt me as much as bikes (not even women) and yet I am still mad for them.

i agree that it is probably the by-products harming your body. not to mention that the smoke is hot, even when water cooled.
i have yet to use a vaporizor, too expensive when the herb costs so much. but some friends swear by them. but doesn't that take away part of the enjoyment? id rather light a spliff and sit in the woods or riverside or mountaintop than pack up some apparatus to take with me. i would guess that it turns the natural weed smoking into more of a process.
but then again i haven't tried a vape yet.

herb costing too much- the best way to counteract it- grow plants! let them seed. plant the seeds. anywhere in public property. let the plants be seen.
where i live some wisecrackers always toss seeds into the plants and flowerbeds outside of the local police station.

by the way, 200 is a thing of the past. i paid 200-250, sometimes less, just 10 years ago, now it is 300-375. amazing what the govt and inflation can do to such an enjoayble little plant from nature.

hahaha rasta leggo! i agree with you about everything on several different levels

the vape...i dont own one, im not saving for one, maybe one of these days but, i too just love smoking. i will be good to go, but still have that urge to keep sparkin it :)

my decision to sell the bike was partly due to health, but mostly due to finicial reasons, seen? dont get me wrong, i am still madly in love with them and become flared up with jealousy when i see people out cruisen :X :( :)
