I think don carlos was involved with michael rose cause don carlos played a pramanent roll in the album "love crisis" and michael rose was of course involved. overall i dont think they even like eachother just the fact that michael rose seems to be the leader of black uhuru but then again in reggae u never know.

Black Uhuru better without Michael Rose? That's crazy!!! Black Uhuru is a legendary group because of the unique vocals of Michael Rose- truly one of the greatest voices ever in reggae. Every Uhuru album with Rose is a killer and untouchable!!! There would be a big void in the world of reggae if the collaborations of Sly & Robbie and Black Uhruru w/Rose never existed.

I also think that Michael Rose did a very good job in this period. I think this was Black Uhurus best time. Although I think Don Carlos is the best singer of them all, I think that his work with black uhuru was not as good as he was/is solo. same for junior reid

No, I didn't forget Andrew Bees, I just didn't mention him. The Albums Black Uhuru recorded with Andrew Bees are not spectacular.

I think Michael Rose was at his best in Black Uhuru. IMO too much of his solo stuff (70 & 80's)sounds repetitive. However, Black Sounds, Red & Sinsimilla are all clasics.
What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and suffer the loss of his own soul?

YEAH BUT IF U REALLY THINK ABOUT IT IF DON CARLOS'S PARENTS WOULD OF NEVER OF HAD SEX TO HAVE DON CARLOS MICHAEL ROSE WOULD OF NEVER HAD A CAREER CAUSE DON CARLOS AND GARTH DENNIS STARTED IT ALL BUT SINCE THEY BOTH LEFT SIMPSON HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO KEEP THE BLACK UHURU BAND IN BUSSINESS SO OF COURSE HE HIRED MICHAEL ROSE TO TAKE LEAD VOCALIST BECUASE BLACK UHURU WAS ALREADY A BAND EVEN THOUGH NO SINGERS WERE INVOLVED BUT THE BAND STILL EXISTED.
