you can hear the wailers as a backing band on many 70s singles, e.g. Garth Dennis "Slow coach", great track and dub. i prefer fams bass and carlies drumming over all others (including sly & robbie which means a lot ...)

Justin Hinds Travel With Love mentioned yet? Top Rankin album!!
On a side note, why didn't The Wailers record more with other artists, as compared to Sly and Robbie and the other "Usual Suspects?" Did Bob (and Island) have them under payment to be ready at will? Maybe they were paid more and didnt need the side work? Just curious. Carlie's drumming is my favorite too...
