This label started in 1969 by Graeme Goodall , and follows the chain of ownership via Trojan Records, Colin Newman, Sanctuary Records Group Ltd. and eventually to Universal Music Group.

Trojan Records took this label around cat. no. ATT 8013 but discarded it in 1971. In 1972 Trojan Records revived the label to release a wider variety of producers.
